    TRADEOLOGY PRIVACY POLICY

    Effective Date: August 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how TradeOlogy LLC ("TradeOlogy," "Company," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, processes, discloses, and safeguards information obtained through TradeOlogy.app (the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

    About the Platform: web-based service

TradeOlogy is a web-based software application (Software-as-a-Service) accessed through a standard web browser at tradeology.app. It is not desktop software and not a downloadable or installable application.

TradeOlogy does not offer, distribute, bundle, or require any downloadable desktop program, installer, executable file, system utility, toolbar, or device driver, and nothing is installed on your computer or device in order to use the Platform. All processing and storage described in this Policy occurs on our hosted infrastructure and within your browser session. Accordingly, this Policy addresses information handled by a hosted online service only.

    1. Information We Collect

TradeOlogy collects information that you voluntarily provide when creating an account, subscribing to services, connecting brokerage accounts, submitting journal entries, uploading content, or communicating with us. This may include your name, email address, login credentials, billing information, payment details processed through third-party providers, and any content or data you upload to the Platform.

If you connect a brokerage account or financial account through an authorized third-party integration provider, we may receive transaction history, trade data, portfolio balances, holdings, and related financial information necessary to provide analytics and performance metrics. TradeOlogy does not control how your broker collects or processes your information.

When you import trades by uploading a CSV file, we may retain a copy of that file. We use these files for one purpose only: to build and maintain support for brokerage export formats, so that you and other users can import reliably. This includes brokerages we already support, because export formats differ between account types and change over time, and a real file is the only way to verify that we are reading yours correctly. A retained file is deleted once it has been reviewed. See Section 5.

We also automatically collect certain technical and usage information, including your IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, session activity, and interactions with the Platform. This information is collected through cookies and similar technologies.

    2. Use of Information

TradeOlogy uses collected information to operate, maintain, and improve the Platform; to provide trade journaling and performance analytics services; to process subscriptions and payments; to detect fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access; to enforce our Terms of Service; and to communicate with users regarding service updates or support matters.

TradeOlogy does not sell personal information.

    3. Disclosure of Information

TradeOlogy may disclose information to third-party service providers solely for purposes necessary to operate the Platform. These providers may include payment processors, cloud hosting providers, analytics services, brokerage integration partners, and customer support tools.

We may also disclose information where required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, enforce our agreements, prevent fraud, or ensure platform security.

    4. Data Security

TradeOlogy implements commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect user information. However, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. By using the Platform, you acknowledge and accept that transmission of information over the internet carries inherent risks.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

    5. Data Retention and Account Deletion

We retain user information for as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Uploaded CSV import files are retained separately from your account data, and are used solely to build and maintain support for brokerage export formats. Access is limited to authorized personnel for that purpose. We do not sell these files, and we do not use them to build any profile of you. As described in Section 3, we use third-party service providers to operate the Platform, including cloud storage and email delivery, and a notification containing a time-limited link to a retained file may be sent to our own staff through our email provider. We keep a file only until it has been reviewed for the purpose described above, after which it is deleted. If you delete your account while a file of yours is still held, it is deleted along with the rest of your data.

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings, or by contacting us. When you request deletion, your account enters a grace period of seven (7) days during which access is suspended but your data is preserved. Logging back in during this period cancels the deletion and fully restores your account. If you do not cancel, at the end of the grace period we permanently delete your personal information from our active systems, including your trades, journal entries, tags, strategies, settings, and brokerage connections. At that time we also disconnect your linked brokerage accounts and cancel any active subscription.

Certain limited information is retained after deletion: (a) billing and transaction records held by our third-party payment processor, retained as required for tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution purposes; (b) a one-way, irreversible cryptographic hash of your email address, which cannot be used to contact you or to recover your email address, retained to prevent abuse of free trials and to evidence that your deletion request was honored; and (c) information retained in backups or archives for a limited period, and any information we are otherwise required to keep by law.

    6. User Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. You may delete your account directly from your account settings (see Section 5), or submit a request to hello@tradeology.app. We may require verification of identity before processing such requests.

California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). TradeOlogy does not sell personal information.

    7. International Users

TradeOlogy is operated in the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed within the United States. By using the Platform, you consent to such transfer.

    8. Changes to This Policy

TradeOlogy reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes become effective upon posting. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

    9. Contact Information
