TRADEOLOGY COOKIE POLICY

This Cookie Policy explains how TradeOlogy LLC ("TradeOlogy," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on TradeOlogy.app (the "Platform"). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences, understand how you use the site, and improve your experience. Similar technologies include local storage and tracking pixels.
2. How We Use Cookies
We use the following categories of cookies:
Essential Cookies
These are required for the Platform to function. They include authentication session cookies managed by our infrastructure provider (Supabase) and preference cookies that store your settings such as theme and layout choices. These cookies cannot be disabled.
Analytics Cookies
We use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors interact with the Platform. These cookies collect information such as pages visited, time spent on pages, and general usage patterns. This data is aggregated and anonymized to help us improve the Platform.
Advertising Cookies
We use Google Ads conversion tracking (via Google Tag Manager) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. These cookies help us understand which ads lead users to sign up or subscribe. They do not serve personalized ads on the Platform itself.
Marketing Attribution
When you arrive from an advertisement or a marketing link, we store the campaign information from that link (such as the campaign name and the advertising network's click identifier) in your browser's local storage for up to 90 days. If you later create an account, that information is saved to your account so we can understand which campaigns bring people to TradeOlogy. It is used for our own measurement only, is never sold or shared with advertisers beyond confirming a conversion to the network that referred you, and is deleted along with the rest of your data if you delete your account.
3. Third-Party Cookies
The analytics and advertising cookies described above are set by Google through Google Tag Manager. Google may use the data collected to contextualize and personalize ads in its own advertising network. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.
4. Managing Your Preferences
TradeOlogy serves customers in the United States and does not currently display a cookie consent banner. The analytics, advertising and attribution cookies described above are set when you visit the Platform. If you would prefer they were not, you can control this through your browser rather than through us, using the options below.
Most web browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings, usually under "Privacy" or "Security" in your browser preferences. Browser extensions that block trackers will also prevent our analytics and advertising cookies from being set. Clearing your browser's local storage and site data for tradeology.app removes any stored marketing attribution information. Note that disabling essential cookies will sign you out and may stop parts of the Platform working.
You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using Google's opt-out browser add-on, and manage advertising personalization in your Google Ad Center.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes become effective upon posting. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
